Direct API

Available directly

Search our published reference pages, or read official-source updates. Start with a request from your terminal; no sign-in is needed for the open tier.

The open tier allows up to 2,000 reads per day under the native API limits. A free account key counts usage per account; extra keys do not multiply the allowance.

Search operations return matching page summaries and links. The sanctions operation returns name-match candidates; a match does not establish identity. Dates and fields vary by source.

Once available, subscribe through RapidAPI and use the key and hostname provided there. A direct API account will not be required.

Direct API limits

When the native daily ceiling is reached, the direct API returns HTTP 402 with a reason and an upgrade_url. RapidAPI subscriptions will use the allowance and limits shown in their own plan.
